8 Key Settings in College Football 25

The key to mastering a game in College Football 25 is not just building a strong team with CFB 25 Coins, but also optimizing your settings. Here are eight crucial settings that can make a significant difference in your gameplay, ensuring you’re not inadvertently lowering your chances of winning.

1. Defensive Heat Seeker Assist

One of the most challenging aspects of College Football 25 is tackling, and that’s where the Defensive Heat Seeker Assist comes in handy. This setting helps your defender lock onto the ball carrier, making it easier to execute tackles.

Why You Need It:

– Tackling Made Easier: College Football 25 can be challenging when it comes to making tackles, and this setting helps by guiding your defender directly to the ball carrier, reducing the chances of missed tackles.
– Enhanced Player Control: Once you switch to a defender, the Heat Seeker Assist gently guides the player in the right direction, making it less likely to overrun or miss the ball carrier.

Optimal Settings:

– Heat Seeker Assist Window Size: Most players set this between 100% and 200%. A higher percentage makes it easier to “suction” to the ball carrier, which can be particularly helpful if you struggle with manual tackling.
– Testing Different Levels: Play around with the settings within this range to find what works best for your play style. Some players prefer to assist at 200% for maximum assistance, while others might find 100% sufficient.

2. Defensive Ball Hawk

Always keep the Defensive Ball Hawk setting turned on. This feature automatically positions your defender to make a play on the ball when you press the catch button, increasing your chances of intercepting passes. With this setting on, you’ll find it much easier to snag those game-changing interceptions.

Why You Need It:

– Automatic Positioning: When the Ball Hawk setting is turned on, it automatically positions your defender to make a play on the ball as soon as you press the catch button. This helps guide your player toward the ball, increasing the likelihood of successful interceptions.
– Improved Interceptions: With Ball Hawk enabled, your chances of catching interceptions rise dramatically, as the game assists in positioning your defender to contest the catch more effectively.

3. Passing Mechanics

For most players, using the Revamped Passing setting is ideal. It reduces the number of inaccuracies and provides a better ball trajectory, allowing you to pass over defenders more effectively.

Passing Type

Why You Need It:

– Reduced Inaccuracies: Revamped Passing helps minimize inaccurate throws, a common issue with other passing settings. This means your passes are more likely to go where you intend, leading to fewer interceptions.
– Improved Ball Trajectory: This setting allows the ball to travel over defenders more effectively, making it easier to complete deep passes or fit the ball into tight windows.

Optimal Settings:

– Pass Lead Increase: Set this to “None.” While it might seem beneficial to increase pass lead, keeping it at “None” provides the most consistent and accurate results.
– Reticle Speed: Adjust the reticle speed to 20. This speed gives you the best balance between control and accuracy, making your passes more precise and reducing the likelihood of turnovers.

Advanced Tips:

– Placement and Accuracy: For more experienced players who prefer the Placement and Accuracy setting, consider adjusting the reticle speed to somewhere between 7 and 10. This range provides more freedom for advanced pass control while still maintaining accuracy.

4. Coin Toss Strategy

Your coin toss settings can impact the game flow more than you might think. Set your first choice to “Kick” so that you receive the ball at the start of the second half. This allows you to score back-to-back points if you manage to score before halftime.

Why It Matters:

– Second-Half Advantage: By choosing to kick off first, you guarantee that you receive the ball at the start of the second half. This can be a crucial advantage, allowing you to score just before halftime and then immediately get the ball back to extend your lead.
– Responding to Your Opponent: If you kick first, you also get the opportunity to see how your opponent plays. If they score on their first drive, you’ll know exactly what you need to do when you get the ball. This knowledge allows you to match or exceed their score, keeping the game under control.

Optimal Settings:

1. Coin Toss 1st Choice: Kick

– Reason: By kicking off at the start, you set yourself up to receive the ball at the beginning of the second half. This allows for potential back-to-back scoring opportunities, which can be decisive in close games.

2. Coin Toss 2nd Choice: Against Wind

– Reason: Selecting “Against Wind” ensures that in the fourth quarter, when games are often decided, you have the wind at your back. This is particularly important for long field goals, as the wind can help carry the ball further, making it easier to score in critical moments.

5. Defensive Switch Assist

Turn on the Defensive Switch Assist to avoid the common mistake of accidentally switching to the wrong defender, which can take a player out of the play. This setting helps maintain the defender’s original direction, minimizing disruption to your defensive schemes.

Why You Need It:

– Prevents Player Misalignment: When you manually switch to a different defender, it’s easy to accidentally move the player out of position, disrupting your defensive coverage. Defensive Switch Assist prevents this by ensuring that your defender continues moving in their original direction for a brief moment after the switch, reducing the risk of taking them out of the play.
– Maintains Defensive Integrity: This setting helps maintain the integrity of your defensive setup, even when you switch players unexpectedly. It’s particularly useful if you’re caught off guard and need to quickly change which defender you’re controlling.

How It Works:

– Smooth Transitions: When you switch defenders, Defensive Switch Assist smooths the transition, keeping the player aligned with the play and reducing the chances of errors like over-pursuing or running in the wrong direction.
– Default Setting: This feature is usually set to “On” by default, but it’s worth double-checking before each game to ensure it’s active.

Benefits:

– Improved Control: With Defensive Switch Assist, you gain better control over your defense, minimizing mistakes that can lead to big plays for your opponent.
– Reduced Errors: The setting acts as a safeguard, helping you avoid the common mistake of switching to the wrong player and inadvertently taking them out of the play.

By keeping Defensive Switch Assist turned on, you’ll find it easier to maintain solid defensive coverage, even when switching players quickly during the heat of the game. This setting is crucial for minimizing defensive breakdowns and ensuring your team stays organized and effective on the field.

6. Auto Flip Defensive Play Call

Ensure that Auto Flip Defensive Play Call is on. This setting aligns your defense to the strong side of the offensive formation, ensuring that your team is always in the best position to counter the opponent’s strategy.

Why You Need It:

– Optimal Defensive Alignment: This setting automatically flips your defensive play call to match the strong side of the offensive formation. This means your defense will always be in the best position to counter the offense’s strength, whether it’s the side with more blockers or a star player.
– Simplifies Strategy: Auto Flip eliminates the need to manually adjust your defense before every play, allowing you to focus on other aspects of your strategy. This is especially useful if you’re trying to make quick adjustments or if you’re playing against an opponent who frequently shifts formations.

How It Works:

– Automatic Adjustments: When the offense lines up, Auto Flip Defensive Play Call will adjust your defensive alignment so that your stronger defenders, like linebackers or defensive ends, are positioned on the side where the offense is likely to run or pass the ball.
– Default Setting: It’s typically set to “On” by default, but confirming it’s active ensures that your defense is consistently aligned correctly throughout the game.

By keeping Auto Flip Defensive Play Call turned on, you ensure that your defense is always optimally aligned to counter your opponent’s offense. This setting is a simple yet powerful tool to help you maintain a strong and effective defensive presence in College Football 25.

7. Coaching Adjustments: Option Defense Read Key

Before each game, adjust your Option Defense Read Key to “Conservative.” This setting instructs your defense to focus on the quarterback during option plays, preventing them from running for easy yards.

Why You Need It:

– Counter Option Plays: Option plays, where the quarterback has the choice to keep the ball or hand it off to a running back, can be challenging to defend, especially if your opponent has a fast quarterback. The Option Defense Read Key allows you to dictate how your defense reacts to these plays.
– Shut Down Mobile QBs: By setting the Option Defense Read Key to “Conservative,” your defense will focus on containing the quarterback, forcing him to hand the ball off to the running back. This is particularly useful against opponents who rely on their quarterback’s speed to gain yards.

8. Coaching Adjustments: Ball Carrier on Conservative

When protecting a lead late in the game, switch your Ball Carrier setting to “Conservative.” This reduces the likelihood of fumbling the ball, although it limits your ability to perform special moves.

Why You Need It:

– Fumble Prevention: The primary reason to set Ball Carrier to “Conservative” is to minimize the chance of fumbling.   Fumbles can be game-changing, especially in close matches, and this setting helps protect against that risk.
– Late-Game Security: When you’re ahead and trying to run out the clock, the last thing you want is to lose possession due to a fumble. Setting the Ball Carrier to “Conservative” helps you secure the ball, allowing you to safely manage the clock and maintain control of the game.

By optimizing these settings, you can give yourself a substantial advantage over your opponents in College Football 25. Remember, the right settings can be the difference between winning and losing, so make sure to adjust them before your next game.

Without further ado, let’s dive into the top 4 best 2K25 jumpshots.

NBA 2K25 Best Jumpshots For 5’9-6’4

Lower/Base: Allen Iverson

Upper Release 1: Stephen Curry

Upper Release 2: Oscar Robertson

Release Speed: Very Quick

Animation Blending: 35% Stephen Curry, 65% Oscar Robertson

The first NBA 2K25 best jumpshot is for 5’9 to 6’4 builds. Using Allen Iverson base, upper release 1 Stephen Curry, and upper release 2 Oscar Robertson. Visual cue is above push, release speed is maxed out and animation blending is 35% Stephen Curry 65% Oscar Robertson. The release height is an A+, it was one of the biggest most important factors in your jumpshot last year for 2K24 and still for 2K25. Release speed is an A+, it’s not maxed out, you could go a little higher if you wanted to by changing the blend or the releases. But one thing that’s very important to note, is if you’re not even 64 or under, your visual queue is on the set point.

NBA 2K25 Best Jumpshots For 5’9-6’4

Lower/Base: Bradley Beal

Upper Release 1: Darius Garland

Upper Release 2: Collin Sexton

Lower/Base: Jarrett Culver

Upper Release 1: Troy Brown Jr.

Upper Release 2: Kyle Korver

Release Speed: Very Quick

Animation Blending: 70% Troy Brown Jr., 30% Kyle Korver

This is probably the craziest NBA 2K25 jumpshot with base Jarrett Culver, upper release one Troy Brown Jr., and upper release two Kyle Korver. Maxed out your release speed, a little bit of push, animation blending is 70% Troy Brown Jr. and 30% Kyle Korver. It is an A release speed. If you do want faster, you can change up the releases, but it’s pretty nice with A- defensive immunity and A release height. The only problem is the timing stability where you will get more variations of the jumpshots. so just like any other shot even if you have A+ timing stability though you will need to watch the shot because the variations are going to be slightly different for most of the shots. Definitely enjoy it if you try it out this best NBA 2K25 jumpshot.

NBA 2K25 Best Jumpshots For 6’5-6’10

Lower/Base: Jaylon Tyson

Upper Release 1: Oscar Robertson

Definitely the best jumpshot for a popper stretch big, a lockdown, or a ball handling guard. Using Jaylon Tyson base, maxed release speed, release visual cue, Oscar Robertson release one, and Charles Bassey upper release two. Animation blending is 40% Oscar Robertson and 60% Charles Bassey.

OSRS Ranking the Teleport Relics – Raging Echoes Leagues 5

The Old School RuneScape (OSRS) Leagues series has consistently introduced innovative mechanics, giving players fresh challenges and new tools to master. Leagues 5, titled Raging Echoes, is no exception. One of the standout features teased in the recent blog post is the introduction of teleport-focused relics that promise to redefine gameplay strategies: Fairy’s Flight, Bank Heist, and Clue Compass.

This guide explores each relic, providing a detailed overview of its functionality, use cases, and overall utility. We also rank these relics, helping you decide which one best suits your playstyle for maximizing efficiency in this highly competitive event.

Fairy’s Flight

Returning Favorite: Fairy’s Flight isn’t a new relic, having made its debut in previous Leagues. However, it remains a powerful tool for mobility.

What It Does:

  • Grants access to a fairy mushroom item.
  • Allows teleportation to any fairy ring, spirit tree, or tool leprechaun from anywhere.
  • Bypasses Wilderness teleport restrictions, making it safe for dangerous areas.
  • Auto-completes Tree Gnome Village, regardless of  OSRS gold chosen regions.

Key Strengths:
Fairy’s Flight shines in its versatility, particularly for farming runs and reaching difficult locations. Players can quickly access bosses like Zulrah, Phantom Muspah, and the Abyssal Sire. However, its reliance on Kandarin-based teleport spots reduces its overall effectiveness this year, given the region’s lower popularity in Leagues 5.

Bank Heist

New Contender: Making its first appearance in the Leagues, Bank Heist adds unique banking capabilities that simplify re-supplying and skilling.

What It Does:

  • Provides a banker’s briefcase item.
  • Enables teleportation to any bank, deposit box, or bank chest.
  • Ignores Wilderness teleport restrictions.

Key Strengths:
Bank Heist is ideal for players focusing on skilling or bosses that require frequent banking. It also simplifies access to Nex in the God Wars Dungeon (GWD), making it a standout choice for Asgarnia-based strategies. Despite its niche utility, it struggles to compete with the sheer versatility of the other relics.

Clue Compass

The Crown Jewel: As a newcomer to the  buy OSRS gold Leagues, Clue Compass immediately establishes itself as the ultimate relic for exploration and clue-focused gameplay.

What It Does:

  • Provides a clue compass item.
  • Teleports to Falo the Bard, STASH units, or your current clue step (except NPC-kill steps).
  • Bypasses Wilderness teleport restrictions.

Key Strengths:
Clue Compass offers unparalleled teleportation coverage, allowing players to reach virtually any location. This relic significantly streamlines clue scroll completion, a critical task in the League, given the emphasis on clue-based tasks and collection log progress. Its versatility extends to teleporting near high-value locations like Barrows, blood and soul altars, Zilyana, and Wilderness bosses.

Ranking the Relics

When comparing these relics, Clue Compass clearly stands above the rest due to its broad utility and relevance to key Leagues objectives.

  1. Clue Compass

The unrivaled king of teleportation, perfect for clue tasks and exploration.

  • Fairy’s Flight

A reliable option for farm runs and niche teleports, though slightly hampered by Kandarin’s reduced importance.

  • Bank Heist

Convenient for banking and boss runs but lacks the game-changing utility of the other relics.

Region-Specific Recommendations

Depending on your chosen region, the ranking order may shift slightly:

  • Karamja and Misthalin: Clue Compass > Fairy’s Flight > Bank Heist.
  • Asgarnia: Clue Compass > Bank Heist > Fairy’s Flight (Bank Heist shines due to Nex accessibility).
  • Wilderness: Clue Compass > Bank Heist > Fairy’s Flight (Fairy’s Flight is nearly useless here).
  • Tirannwn: Clue Compass > Fairy’s Flight > Bank Heist (navigating dense forests becomes trivial).
  • Varlamore: Bank Heist > Clue Compass > Fairy’s Flight (limited clue steps in the new region).

Conclusion

Clue Compass dominates as the must-pick teleport relic in most regions, offering unmatched flexibility for completing League tasks. Fairy’s Flight remains a strong second choice for farming and niche teleports, while Bank Heist provides specialized banking utility for select strategies.

As Leagues 5 approaches, stay tuned for more insights and tips to help you master Raging Echoes!

New World: How To Farm Rawhide In Rise Of Angry Earth? – Best Locations & Tips

With Rise of Angry Earth expansion, a change of level bracket for Rawhide come in New World, so the farming locations for it have changed quite a bit. But I think there are still a lot of places that have a good potential in farming your preferred hides.

I will tell you some of the best Rawhide farming spots in this short guide. I will also share some general tips to make your run more successful. This way, you can collect more Rawhides and earn more New World Coins.

Understanding Rawhide Farming

Different hides drop from a certain level of a beast, and now these brackets have changed.

Rawhide now drops from beasts from level one up to level 29. At level 30 and above, they will be able to be skinned from thick hide.

The base amount of hides on creature drops is based on two factors:

The first factor is the size of the beast. Bison drop the most hide as they’re the biggest, and wolves do the least as they are small compared to them.

The other factor is beast level. The higher the level within the bracket, the more height it drops. For example, a level 25 lynx would give you more Rawhide than a 15 lynx. This base number would reset at the next hide tier bracket.

The whole base amount of hides you get can then be multiplied by gathering yield. You can double it if you optimize correctly.

Choosing The Right Zone

There are only three zones where you can farm Rawhide. And I would pick your zone depending on the faction ownership as you get 10% more yield if you are the same faction as the one who owns the zone.

If none of them are your color, then don’t worry and pick any of them you like.

Everfall Rawhide Locations

Everfall is the first one that we will take a look at. This zone has plenty of good locations where you can farm Rawhide.

There is a good hilly area that is inhabited with a lot of pumas and deer. Both of them give you a lot of Rawhide.

Up North near the border with Weaver’s Fen, you have a green land with wolves wondering about. This one is a bit worse than the previous one with pumas and deer. An equally good area is the one around Starstone Barrows Expedition where, besides Ancient Guardians, you can find plenty of lynxes.

Up North is the worst spot of them all because wolves are very low level. But if you put your time in, you can get a decent amount of Rawhide.

If I were you, I would try pumas and deer first. If taken, I would move North to wolves or west to lynxs.

Windsward Rawhide Hotspots

The next zone that has enemies low enough for you to be able to haunt animals is Windsward.

This one has one amazing spot that might be taken all the time. It is the bison spot that also has some deer on the western side, already in the area of Monarch’s Bluffs. This one also has a lot of Hemp. If you were lucky enough to find it, you can farm both at the same time.

Other options are low-level wolves and lynxs on the east of the settlement and wolves, deer, and pumas at the south of the zone’s main town.

By far the best option is where bison reside. However, it might always be taken. In that case, I would try my luck south of the settlement.

Monarch’s Bluffs Rawhide Farms

The last area that has enemies that are up to level 25 is Monarch’s Bluffs.

This one has very few options on where to farm Rawhide. You have a large area filled with wolves and bears. You also have one inside a cave that is filled with lynxes.

I have not included the bison and deer location as I have already mentioned it in the Windsward part.

If I had to pick where to farm Rawhide in this zone, I would pick the wolves and bear area down South as I believe it is much less populated with other hunters like you.

Conclusion

With the change of level bracket, the farming locations for Rawhide have changed quite a bit.

But I think there are still a lot of places that have a good potential in farming your preferred hides when you go on your run.

Do not forget to buff up with Music to get as much yield as possible.

Path Of Exile 3.25: Which Game Mode Suits You Best In Settlers Of Kalguur? – Season Or Standard Mode

When you create a new character in Path of Exile, you are presented with a variety of game modes to choose from. Experienced players will probably be able to quickly decide which mode is best for them. However, if you are new to the game, the options can be a bit confusing. Here is a guide to help you choose the best game mode for you.

In this guide, we will explore the two different ways to play in Path of Exile: standard and seasonal modes (called leagues). We will point out the key differences between the two modes to help new players understand which one is best for them. We will also explain what happens to your character when the season ends.

Game Mode Options Explained

When creating a new character in Path of Exile, you have three different modes to choose from:

  • Standard League
  • Seasonal/Challenge League
  • Hardcore Seasonal/Challenge League

It is important to note that Challenge League does not appear as an option, but as a current league. For example, if Settlers of Kalguur is the latest league at the time of this guide, you will see Standard League, Settlers, and Hardcore Settlers in the options.

Beyond standard league or challenge leagues, there are additional modes to choose from:

  • Hardcore
  • Ruthless
  • Solo Self-Found

When choosing Hardcore, if your character dies, it will revert to standard mode, which is non-hardcore mode. Choosing Ruthless, on the other hand, means that the game will be significantly more difficult, which may slow down your progress. For experienced players, this mode may provide a fresh sense of challenge.

However, this mode may not be suitable for beginners who are just starting to play the game, unless you have enough POE Currency to obtain and upgrade equipment so that you can adapt to the difficulty of the game in this mode. You can also pay attention to Giveaway platform in MMOEXP, which often releases some product giveaway information. You can follow each information release by being active in discord group.

As for Solo Self-Found, you cannot trade or team up with other players in this mode. But it is worth mentioning that this choice can be changed after the character is created, so you are not permanently restricted to the initial choice.

Description Of Challenge League

A seasonal league is a limited-time feature in Path of Exile. They are called ‘Challenge Leagues’ in the game. Only during the league event can you create a new character and experience the special gameplay related to the league. For example, in PoE 3.25 Settlers of Kalguur league, players can build and develop the town of kingsmarch.

If you choose to play standard league, the town building function mentioned above will not be available. Standard mode consists mainly of the core game content and content added in later updates, and does not include any unique features for a particular season.

What To Do After Challenge League Ends?

When a season ends, you cannot create new characters in that season. With Settlers of Kalguur mentioned earlier, this means that ‘Settlers’ option will no longer be available.

However, this does not mean that your characters from that season will be removed. Instead, they will be transferred to a permanent league with your map progress and all your stored items.

When Do Challenge Leagues Usually Start?

If you want to restart the game and seek a fresh experience, challenge leagues are a good choice. So how often do these leagues usually take place? For example, the current challenge leagues started on July 26, 2024, while the previous Necropolis league started on March 29, 2024. A challenge league lasts about four months.

This roughly marks the length of a season cycle, but seasons do not end without warning. As new seasons get closer, you’ll start seeing announcements about them, which gives you time to prepare. It’s important to note that once a season ends, your character won’t be able to transfer over to the next one, but this also gives you a great opportunity to try out a new class or build.

How To Choose Game Mode That Suits You?

If you want to experience the latest content, challenge leagues are a brilliant choice. These leagues are where new content is introduced, so joining challenge leagues is the best way to experience the game. It’s also worth noting that since more players tend to play in this mode, you’ll can interact with other players more.

Challenge leagues are also a brilliant choice for new players. Starting at the beginning of a league ensures that you don’t fall behind other players in your progress. If you start in standard leagues, you may not run into other players as often, and if you do, they may be much stronger than you.

In summary, whether you’re a hardcore player or a novice, it’s important to understand the characteristics of each mode so that you can have the best experience in the wonderful world of Path of Exile.
